REMEMBER: OSHA requires operators and AWP occupants to be trained and be made aware of the hazards of working at heights including fall hazards, electrocution hazards, falling object hazards, tip-over hazards and load capacities of the AWP according to the training requirements of ANSI A92 standards. The employer of the employee using the AWP is responsible for verifying that the operator and occupants are Qualified as per OSHA and ANSI definition: "Qualified" means one who, by possession of a recognized degree, certificate, or professional standing, or who by extensive knowledge, training and experience, has successfully demonstrated his ability to solve or resolve problems relating to the subject matter, the work, or the project.
