Military Makeover with Montel Features Three Sunbelt Rentals Team Members
On Wednesday, April 24, Lifetime will be airing the show Military Makeover – Operation Careers featuring three Sunbelt Rentals employees. Hosted by Montel Williams, Military Makeover captures the transition of our heroes from the military back to civilian life. The show offers hope and a helping hand here on the home front to members of our military and their loved ones.
Honoring, supporting, and giving back to military veterans is an important part of the Sunbelt Rentals culture. Our team members are one of our most valuable assets and we are proud to employ nearly 1,000 veterans across the U.S. and Canada.
Our Sunbelt Rentals employees will be featured on April 24 at 7:30 a.m. EST. The following team members will share their story:
Hugo Barraza Jr.
Barraza Jr. is a Sunbelt Service Manager in San Antonio, Texas. He is married with two daughters and two sons. Barraza Jr. served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force. His most memorable moment was when Brigadier General Hartford sent a letter to his wife thanking her for supporting him while he served. “There are not many generals who take the time to write a letter to a military spouse thanking them for their commitment and support.”
Jamerson is a Sunbelt Rentals Branch Manager in Katy, Texas. Jamerson is married with three daughters. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and his most memorable moment was being awarded Airman of the Year in 2004 at Randolph Air Force Base.
Peters is a Branch Manager in Freedom, Wisconsin. Peters is married with three daughters. She served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, and her most memorable moment was while she was in East Berlin before the wall came down. “I was one of the first people to stand on the platform at Checkpoint Charlie, the crossing point between East and West Berlin the night the wall opened. It was incredibly emotional to witness,” Peters said.
Sunbelt Rentals is excited and proud to have our employees featured in this segment. Our team thanks all veterans for the sacrifices made to protect our freedom.
The show can be viewed here. In addition, the segment will re-air on May 3 at 7:30 a.m. EST.
