Sunbelt Rentals purchases goods and services for rental operations on a Preferred Supplier basis. All capital goods and supporting parts and supplies associated with those capital assets are purchased on the local level by our Profit Center Managers from the approved suppliers that are part of the Preferred Supplier Program. Any purchase for capital equipment outside the Preferred Supplier and approved model specifications are approved by the Strategic Sourcing Team based in Fort Mill, SC. Additional supporting parts, service, and merchandise suppliers are also approved by the Strategic Sourcing Team. Contracts for service in support of the Profit Center network such as office equipment, supplies and furniture, cell phones, trash services, maintenance supplies, advertising, and the like are also approved and coordinated through the Strategic Sourcing Team and Purchasing Departments based in Fort Mill, SC.

Sunbelt Rentals strives to negotiate and purchase products and/or services from suppliers who offer the best value in quality, price, service, availability, and on time delivery. Sunbelt Rentals uses suppliers who offer the best available payment terms, warranties and long term relationships.

Purchase Order Terms

Sunbelt Rentals requires system-generated Purchase Order Numbers for all goods and services. Purchase Orders are mailed, faxed or emailed to the supplier.

Contractual Agreements

All contractual agreements are required to be signed by an Executive Officer out of our Corporate Office in Fort Mill, SC; Employees at our local branches have not been authorized to sign such agreements.
