CHARLOTTE, NC – June 9, 2006 – Sunbelt Rentals announces the promotion of Mark White to the position of Manager for Sunbelt’s Southern California Division, and Lawrence Pruett to the position of Manager for their Los Angeles Division.
Mark White will manage branches in Fontana, La Mirada, Orange, San Diego and a new Pump & Power specialty location. White was the branch manager of Sunbelt’s Fontana location since 2001, where he built a team that regularly exceeded service and revenue goals. White graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Communications and has many years of rental industry sales and management experience.
Lawrence “LP” Pruett will manage branches in Glendale, Northridge, Palmdale and Lompoc. Pruett joined Sunbelt last year from the Brookstone Rentals acquisition, where he was Director of Sales & Operations. Since 1991 Pruett has held a wide range of positions in the rental industry, including driver, rental manager, outside sales and west coast transportation manager. Pruett studied Business Management at Mesa College in San Diego, and has served 13 years in the U.S. Navy.

Additionally, Rob Courtney has been promoted to Branch Manager of Sunbelt’s Fontana, California, branch. Rob has 12 years experience in the rental industry, and started with Sunbelt in December of 2001 as an outside sales representative. For the past two years Courtney has been the top revenue producing salesman in the region.
