Charlotte, NC – February 3, 2006 – Sunbelt Rentals recently appointed three new Divisional Managers in the company’s Northern California, Midwest and Southeastern markets, each bringing many years of experience with the company to their new positions.
Brian Elbrecht has been promoted to Manager of Sunbelt’s Northern California Division. Elbrecht was the branch manager for Sunbelt’s Sacramento location for 6 years, where he successfully reorganized that facility from an aerial location into a full-line general rental store. Elbrecht was an Operations Manager with Ivy Hi-Lift prior to Sunbelt’s acquisition of that company in 2000, and has an MBA from California State University-Sacramento.
Rick Moss has been promoted to Manager of Sunbelt’s Western Central Division, which covers portions of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. Moss graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, IL, and has 14 years of industry experience. He has managed Sunbelt’s branch in Duluth, GA, since 1998 – a highly successful location that boasts a more than $6 million fleet.
Jim Cowley has been appointed Manager of Sunbelt’s Upstate South Carolina Division. He was previously Director of Sunbelt’s National Training Center in Charlotte, NC, since 1999. Prior to that, he held multiple positions within Sunbelt, and with McLean Rentals before Sunbelt’s acquisition of that company.
